Governor Quinn is excited to announce the Illinois Conservation Jobs and Training Program (ICJT), a statewide effort managed by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources, designed to put young people to work this summer. ICJT has two parts: the Illinois Youth Recreation Corps and the Illinois Conservation Corps.

Workershop for over 40 job seekers

Chicago Public Library is running a workshop on how people over 40 can find work. It will include a free job board & connect people with employers looking to hire older workers.

It will take place on July 9th from 2pm -3.30pm at the Harold Washington Library Center, Multi-Purpose Room, Lower level.

People can register at the Business Information Center on the 4th floor or by calling 312-747-4400.
